The intention is that students will keep up with the reading and participate in class discussions. To facilitate this end there will be a quiz on the assigned chapter at the beginning of the class.   The Project Paper will introduce the student to APA style papers by writing one. This style of academic writing is the accepted style for all of psychology, nursing, and most social sciences. Writing in APA style is also a method of training students in the methods and values of psychologists. The project paper will take the form of an empirical research report of the case study that was conducted by the student of their self-change time management program. An important outcome of the Project Paper is that the student learns how to find and evaluate new research.
